Article D6113-18 of the French Labour Code

The national framework of vocational qualifications provided for in article L. 6113-1 defines the level of qualification associated with each vocational qualification on the basis of gradation criteria for the skills required to perform vocational activities.

These criteria make it possible to assess:

1° The complexity of the knowledge associated with carrying out the professional activity;

2° The level of know-how, which is assessed in particular according to the complexity and technicality of an activity in a work process;

3° The level of responsibility and autonomy within the work organisation.

Le cadre national des certifications professionnelles prévu à l’article L. 6113-1 définit le niveau de qualification associé à chaque certification professionnelle en fonction de critères de gradation des compétences nécessaires à l’exercice d’activités professionnelles.


Ces critères permettent d’évaluer :


1° La complexité des savoirs associés à l’exercice de l’activité professionnelle ;


2° Le niveau des savoir-faire, qui s’apprécie notamment en fonction de la complexité et de la technicité d’une activité dans un processus de travail ;


3° Le niveau de responsabilité et d’autonomie au sein de l’organisation de travail.
