The post-interventional monitoring room is located close to one or more sites where anaesthesia is performed and where grouping is encouraged, in particular operating sectors and sectors where endoscopy or interventional radiology procedures are performed.
Its opening hours take into account the table setting out the scheduling of operations, mentioned in article D. 6124-93, and the establishment’s activity in terms of receiving and treating emergencies.
Any new post-interventional monitoring room, including when it is created by grouping together existing rooms in order to comply with the standards for paramedical staff mentioned in article D. 6124-101, has a minimum capacity of four workstations.
