Article D6124-134-3 of the French Public Health Code

I.-The establishment authorised with designation C has at least one qualified team comprising the following professions:

1° At least one doctor specialising in paediatrics, competent in cancerology and able to demonstrate experience in the practice of systemic medicinal treatments for cancer;

2° State-qualified nurses trained or able to demonstrate experience in the management of cancer in children.

II.-Without prejudice to the application of the provisions of I, the establishment authorised with designation C also has a trained and experienced team providing intensive chemotherapy leading to foreseeable aplasia of more than eight days and ensuring the management of this aplasia. This team includes at least the following healthcare professionals:

1° A qualified doctor specialising in paediatrics with experience in long-term aplasia.

2° State-qualified nurses trained or with proven experience in the management of cancer by intensive chemotherapy and in the management of its complications.

I.-L’établissement autorisé avec la mention C, dispose d’au moins une équipe qualifiée comprenant les professions suivantes :

1° Au moins un médecin spécialisé en pédiatrie compétent en cancérologie et justifiant d’une expérience dans la pratique de traitements médicamenteux systémiques du cancer ;

2° Des infirmiers diplômés d’Etat formés ou justifiant d’une expérience à la prise en charge du cancer chez l’enfant.

II.-Sans préjudice de l’application des dispositions du I, l’établissement autorisé avec la mention C dispose également d’une équipe formée et expérimentée assurant les chimiothérapies intensives entraînant une aplasie prévisible de plus de huit jours et assurant la prise en charge de cette aplasie. Cette équipe comprend au moins les professionnels de santé suivants :

1° Un médecin qualifié spécialisé en pédiatrie justifiant d’une expérience dans les aplasies de longue durée.

2° Des infirmiers diplômés d’Etat formés ou justifiant d’une expérience à la prise en charge du cancer par chimiothérapie intensive et à la gestion de ses complications.
