The number of medical and paramedical staff is adapted to the haematopoietic cell transplant activity and the follow-up of transplant patients. It includes :
1° At least two doctors, each with a qualification in haematology or clinical haematology or a diploma in specialised medical oncology, haemato-oncology option, and at least two years’ training in a unit performing haematopoietic cell transplants;
2° A sufficient number of nursing staff to provide permanent and intensive care for patients, including a nurse responsible for coordinating the patient’s care pathway;
3° A psychologist ;
4° A dietician;
5° A physiotherapist;
6° A social worker.
