Article D6124-33-2 of the French Public Health Code

I. – The coordinating doctor of the paediatric intensive care unit, a member of the unit’s medical team, has at least two years’ experience in paediatric intensive care, extended to five years for a paediatric intensive care unit of recourse, and must be competent in paediatric intensive care.

II. – The coordinating doctor of the paediatric resuscitation unit or paediatric resuscitation referral unit is also the coordinating doctor for the adjoining paediatric intensive care unit.

I. – Le médecin coordonnateur de l’unité de réanimation pédiatrique, membre de l’équipe médicale de l’unité, dispose d’au moins deux ans d’expérience en réanimation pédiatrique, portée à cinq ans pour une unité de réanimation pédiatrique de recours et doit être compétent en réanimation pédiatrique.

II. – Le médecin coordonnateur de l’unité de réanimation pédiatrique ou de réanimation pédiatrique de recours est également le médecin coordonnateur pour l’unité de soins intensifs pédiatriques contiguë.
