Article D6124-65 of the French Public Health Code

The authorised healthcare establishment has haemodialysis treatment units, back-up units and training units for home haemodialysis or self-care dialysis when it carries out the latter two tasks.

The haemodialysis station consists of a combination of a bed or chair for the patient, a haemodialysis machine and a treated water supply for dialysis.

The fallback station is a haemodialysis station reserved for the temporary care of the patient in the event of medical, technical or social circumstances. It can only be found in a haemodialysis centre or medical unit.

The training station is a haemodialysis station reserved for the training mentioned in article D. 6124-64.

L’établissement de santé autorisé dispose de postes d’hémodialyse de traitement, de postes de repli et de postes d’entraînement à l’hémodialyse à domicile ou à l’autodialyse lorsqu’il assure ces deux dernières missions.

Le poste d’hémodialyse est constitué par l’association d’un lit ou d’un fauteuil pour le patient, avec un générateur d’hémodialyse et une arrivée d’eau traitée pour la dialyse.

Le poste de repli est un poste d’hémodialyse réservé à la prise en charge temporaire du patient en cas de circonstances à caractère médical, technique ou social. Il ne se trouve qu’en centre d’hémodialyse ou en unité médicalisée.

Le poste d’entraînement est un poste d’hémodialyse réservé à la formation mentionnée à l’article D. 6124-64.
