The authorised healthcare establishment has haemodialysis treatment units, back-up units and training units for home haemodialysis or self-care dialysis when it carries out the latter two tasks.
The haemodialysis station consists of a combination of a bed or chair for the patient, a haemodialysis machine and a treated water supply for dialysis.
The fallback station is a haemodialysis station reserved for the temporary care of the patient in the event of medical, technical or social circumstances. It can only be found in a haemodialysis centre or medical unit.
The training station is a haemodialysis station reserved for the training mentioned in article D. 6124-64.
