The haemodialysis centre, defined in articles R. 6123-58 to R. 6123-60, has at least eight haemodialysis treatment units.
The same haemodialysis station may not be used for more than three patients per twenty-four hours.
The centre also has at least one back-up haemodialysis machine for every eight treatment stations installed, reserved for this purpose.
Two haemodialysis stations are also reserved for training in home dialysis and self-care dialysis, except when patient training is provided by a unit reserved for this purpose.
In addition, at least one haemodialysis station is reserved for the withdrawal of patients mentioned in article D. 6124-65. The haemodialysis centre has at least one back-up station for every thirty to forty-five patients treated outside the centre and for whom it provides back-up. When the number of back-up stations is greater, the centre may temporarily use these stations to cope with an influx of patients travelling or on holiday, provided that at least one back-up station is always available for emergencies.
The haemodialysis centre has at least two cubicles for the care of patients requiring isolation.
