Except for patients whose state of health requires them to be admitted directly to an intensive care unit, the monitoring that follows the patient’s transfer is carried out in a post-interventional monitoring room.
Subject to patients being able to benefit from the monitoring conditions mentioned in article D. 6124-97, the following may take the place of a post-interventional monitoring room:
1° The labour room located in an obstetrics unit, in the event of general or loco-regional anaesthesia for vaginal deliveries ;
2° The room where seismotherapy activities are carried out.
