The reference medical biology laboratory draws up an annual report on its activities. This report includes an assessment of the changes observed and those that are desirable. It includes a list of publications or recommendations made by the reference laboratory during the past year and its work prospects for the coming year. The annual report is sent by 31 March of the following year, by the biologist in charge, to the Minister of Health and to the Minister of Defence for the medical reference laboratories under his authority. It is then sent to the above-mentioned selection committee for its opinion and made public by the Minister for Health in the month following its submission. A summary of all the activity reports of the reference medical biology laboratories is presented each year by the Minister for Health to the National Medical Biology Commission.
