Article D6222-21-1 of the French Labour Code

Within a period that may not be less than five calendar days from the date of referral to the mediator as provided for in article L. 6222-18, the apprentice shall inform the employer of his intention to terminate the contract by any means that provides a date certain.

The apprenticeship contract may not be terminated until at least seven calendar days after the date on which the employer was informed of the apprentice’s intention to terminate the contract.

Dans un délai qui ne peut être inférieur à cinq jours calendaires à compter de la saisine du médiateur prévue à l’article L. 6222-18, l’apprenti informe l’employeur de son intention de rompre le contrat par tout moyen conférant date certaine.

La rupture du contrat d’apprentissage ne peut intervenir qu’après un délai qui ne peut être inférieur à sept jours calendaires après la date à laquelle l’employeur a été informé de l’intention de l’apprenti de rompre son contrat.
