Article D6222-42 of the French Labour Code

The centre providing the apprentice’s training will issue the apprentice with a trade student card within thirty days of registration by the apprentice training centre. If the apprenticeship contract is terminated, the card is returned to the training establishment, which is responsible for destroying it.

Une carte d’étudiant des métiers est délivrée à l’apprenti par le centre qui assure sa formation dans les trente jours qui suivent l’inscription par le centre de formation d’apprentis.
