The National Labour Inspection Council is made up of :
1° A serving or honorary Conseiller d’Etat appointed by the Vice-President of the Conseil d’Etat ;
2° A member of the Court of Cassation with at least the rank of Councillor, in active service or honorary, appointed by the First President of the Court of Cassation;
3° An Inspector General of Social Affairs, appointed by the Head of the Inspectorate General of Social Affairs;
4° A member of the labour inspectorate exercising the functions of regional director of companies, competition, consumption, labour and employment or head of the labour division in a regional directorate of companies, competition, consumption, labour and employment, appointed by the college of regional directors;
5° A labour inspector, nominated by the staff representatives elected to the joint administrative committee of the interministerial body of labour inspectors;
6° A labour inspector, nominated by the staff representatives elected to the joint administrative committee of the interministerial body of labour inspectors.
Each full member has a deputy appointed under the same conditions, who is called upon to take part in the work in the event of one-off absence or impediment, or to succeed him/her in the event of termination of his/her duties.
