Article D8254-2 of the French Labour Code

The person required to carry out the checks provided for in article L. 8254-1 must ensure that, when the contract is concluded, his co-contractor provides him with a list of the names of the foreign employees employed by the latter and subject to the work permit provided for in article L. 5221-2.
This list, drawn up on the basis of the single personnel register, specifies for each employee:
1° The date of recruitment;
2° The employee’s nationality;
3° The type and serial number of the work permit.

Article D8254-2

La personne à qui les vérifications prévues à l’article L. 8254-1 s’imposent se fait remettre, par son cocontractant, lors de la conclusion du contrat, la liste nominative des salariés étrangers employés par ce dernier et soumis à l’autorisation de travail prévue à l’article L. 5221-2.
Cette liste, établie à partir du registre unique du personnel, précise pour chaque salarié :
1° Sa date d’embauche ;
2° Sa nationalité ;
3° Le type et le numéro d’ordre du titre valant autorisation de travail.
