Article L100-1 of the French Insurance Code

For the purposes of this Book, the words “France”, “in France” and “territory of the French Republic” mean mainland France and the territorial collectivities governed by Article 73 of the Constitution as well as Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin. Except for the provisions relating to the freedom to provide services and the freedom of establishment, these words also refer to Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon.

Pour l’application du présent livre, les mots : ” la France “, les mots : ” en France “, et les mots : ” territoire de la République française ” désignent la France métropolitaine et les collectivités territoriales régies par l’article 73 de la Constitution ainsi que Saint-Barthélemy et Saint-Martin. Sauf pour les dispositions qui concernent la libre prestation de services et la liberté d’établissement, ces mots désignent également Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon.
