Article L1226-1-2 of the French Labour Code

The employment contract of an employee suffering from a non-occupational illness or accident remains suspended during the periods in which he/she is following the actions mentioned inarticle L. 323-3-1 of the Social Security Code under the conditions set out in the same article.

Le contrat de travail d’un salarié atteint d’une maladie ou victime d’un accident non professionnel demeure suspendu pendant les périodes au cours desquelles il suit les actions mentionnées à l’article L. 323-3-1 du code de la sécurité sociale dans les conditions prévues à ce même article.
