The Agence nationale de la cohésion des territoires is a national public institution, created in the form of a State public establishment.

It carries out its missions throughout France.

Its action is primarily aimed at areas suffering from geographical constraints, demographic, economic, social or environmental difficulties, or lack of access to public services, with particular attention paid to the areas referred to in Article 174 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, as well as innovative projects.

L’Agence nationale de la cohésion des territoires est une institution nationale publique, créée sous la forme d’un établissement public de l’Etat.

Son action cible prioritairement, d’une part, les territoires caractérisés par des contraintes géographiques, des difficultés en matière démographique, économique, sociale, environnementale ou d’accès aux services publics, avec une attention particulière accordée aux zones mentionnées à l’article 174 du traité sur le fonctionnement de l’Union européenne, et, d’autre part, les projets innovants.
