Article L131-2 of the French Sports Code

Sports federations are constituted in the form of associations, in accordance with the law of 1st July 1901 relating to the contract of association or, in the departments of Haut-Rhin, Bas-Rhin and Moselle, with the local civil code.

School and university federations and unions are subject to the provisions of this code and the livres V and VIII of the Education Code.

Article L131-2

Les fédérations sportives sont constituées sous forme d’associations, conformément à la loi du 1er juillet 1901 relative au contrat d’association ou, dans les départements du Haut-Rhin, du Bas-Rhin et de la Moselle, au code civil local.

Les fédérations et unions scolaires et universitaires sont soumises aux dispositions du présent code et des livres V et VIII du code de l’éducation.
