In local authorities covered by article 73 of the Constitution and in the collectivities of Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin, Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon and the Wallis and Futuna Islands, in the event of an economic situation where the selling price paid by the producer of perishable agricultural products or products from short production cycles is abnormally low compared with the average price observed during the corresponding period of the previous marketing year, the observatory of prices, margins and incomes mentioned in Title I A of Book IX of the Commercial Code may propose to the State representative that the purchase price from the producer and the selling price to the consumer be displayed at the point of sale.
