The Director General, the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Chairman of the Scientific Council of the National Cancer Institute are appointed for a period of five years by decree.
No Government Commissioner is appointed to the Institute.
The Board of Directors of the Institut National du Cancer is made up of a Member of Parliament and a Senator, as well as a Deputy Member of Parliament and a Deputy Senator.
