Article L142-2 of the French Insurance Code

The rates charged for French retirement savings plans and sub-accounts of the pan-European individual retirement savings product are based on mortality and technical interest rate parameters defined in the contract. A decree issued by the Minister for the Economy sets out the terms and conditions for the application of this article, in particular the maximum technical interest rate used.

Les tarifs pratiqués au titre des plans d’épargne retraite et des sous-comptes français du produit paneuropéen d’épargne-retraite individuelle sont établis d’après des paramètres de mortalité et de taux d’intérêt technique définis au contrat. Un arrêté du ministre chargé de l’économie fixe les modalités d’application du présent article, notamment le taux d’intérêt technique maximum utilisé.
