Article L1424-92 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The territorial fire and rescue services in Alsace are the Bas-Rhin fire and rescue service and the Haut-Rhin fire and rescue service. The Bas-Rhin and Haut-Rhin fire and rescue services replace the Bas-Rhin and Haut-Rhin departmental fire and rescue services in all their rights and obligations. They carry out their missions within their respective geographical areas corresponding to the administrative districts of the State of Bas-Rhin and Haut-Rhin.
This chapter applies to the fire and rescue services of Bas-Rhin and Haut-Rhin, subject to the provisions of this section.

Article L1424-92

Les services territoriaux d’incendie et de secours en Alsace sont le service d’incendie et de secours du Bas-Rhin et le service d’incendie et de secours du Haut-Rhin. Les services d’incendie et de secours du Bas-Rhin et du Haut-Rhin sont substitués aux services départementaux d’incendie et de secours du Bas-Rhin et du Haut-Rhin dans l’ensemble de leurs droits et obligations. Ils exercent leurs missions sur leur ressort géographique respectif correspondant aux circonscriptions administratives de l’Etat du Bas-Rhin et du Haut-Rhin.

Le présent chapitre s’applique aux services d’incendie et de secours du Bas-Rhin et du Haut-Rhin, sous réserve des dispositions de la présente section.
