Article L1444-1 of the French Public Health Code

I.-For the application of the provisions of this code in French Guyana, the reference to the regional health and autonomy conference of French Guyana replaces the reference to the territorial health council.

II -The regional health and autonomy conference for French Guyana exercises the powers devolved to the territorial health council provided for inarticle L. 1434-10.

III-The territories of health democracy provided for inarticle L. 1434-9 are defined by the regional health agency for French Guyana at the level of the territorial collectivity of French Guyana in such a way as to cover the entire territory.

IV -In I of article L. 1434-10, the first paragraph and the first and third sentences of the second paragraph are not applicable in French Guyana. A decree in the Conseil d’Etat determines the composition of the specialised mental health commission, its operating procedures and the appointment of its members.

Article L1444-1

I.-Pour l’application des dispositions du présent code en Guyane, la mention de la conférence régionale de la santé et de l’autonomie de Guyane se substitue à la mention du conseil territorial de santé.

II.-La conférence régionale de la santé et de l’autonomie de la Guyane exerce les compétences dévolues au conseil territorial de santé prévue à l’article L. 1434-10.

III.-Les territoires de démocratie sanitaire prévus à l’article L. 1434-9 sont définis par l’agence régionale de santé de la Guyane à l’échelle de la collectivité territoriale de Guyane de manière à couvrir l’intégralité du territoire.

IV.-Au I de l’article L. 1434-10, le premier alinéa ainsi que la première et la troisième phrase du second alinéa ne sont pas applicables en Guyane. Un décret en Conseil d’Etat détermine la composition de la commission spécialisée en santé mentale, ses modalités de fonctionnement et de désignation de ses membres.
