The health project is territorial. The health democracy territories provided for in 1° ofarticle L. 1434-9 may cover the territory of Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, or be smaller or larger than it. They are defined after obtaining the opinion of the territorial conference on health democracy provided for in 1° of article L. 1434-9 and autonomy, and, with regard to activities falling within its remit, of the president of the territorial council.

The National Steering Committee exercises its powers with regard to the territorial health administration of Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, with the exception of the assessment of its Director General.
