Chapter III of Title I of Book IV of this Part is applicable in the territory of the islands of Wallis and Futuna, in the wording resulting from Law No 2019-774 of 24 July 2019 on the organisation and transformation of the healthcare system, subject to the following adaptations:
1° The reference to the Wallis and Futuna health agency replaces that of the regional health agencies ;
2° References to the Armed Forces Health Service, regional health observatories and social security bodies do not apply;
3° In Article L. 1413-7, the words: “mentioned inArticle L. 2223-19 of the General Local Authorities Code ” are deleted;
4° 2° of Article L. 1413-8 is replaced by the following provision:
“2° The Wallis and Futuna Health Agency is required to forward to the national reference centres or designated laboratories any infectious agent strains or biological material of any origin in its possession relating to such risks. ” ;
5° Article L. 1413-15 reads as follows:
“Art. L. 1413-15 – State services and all health professionals are required to notify the Director of the Wallis and Futuna Health Agency immediately of any imminent threats to the health of the population of which they are aware, as well as any situations in which they believe there is a serious presumption of a serious health threat. The Director of the Agency shall immediately inform the National Public Health Agency of any such reports. “
