Article L2111-2 of the French Public Health Code

Maternal and child health services and consultations, home-based maternal and child health protection activities, the approval of family assistants, as well as the approval, monitoring, training mentioned in article L. 421-14 of the Code de l’action sociale et des familles and the supervision of maternal assistants, fall within the remit of the département, which is responsible for their organisation and funding, subject to the provisions of articles L. 2112-7, L. 2112-8, L. 2214-1, L. 2322-6 and L. 2323-2.

Article L2111-2

Les services et consultations de santé maternelle et infantile, les activités de protection de la santé maternelle et infantile à domicile, l’agrément des assistants familiaux ainsi que l’agrément, le contrôle, la formation mentionnée à l’article L. 421-14 du code de l’action sociale et des familles et la surveillance des assistants maternels, relèvent de la compétence du département qui en assure l’organisation et le financement sous réserve des dispositions des articles L. 2112-7, L. 2112-8, L. 2214-1, L. 2322-6 et L. 2323-2.
