Decisions taken by the mayor pursuant to article L. 2122-22 are subject to the same rules as those applicable to deliberations by municipal councils on the same subjects.
Unless otherwise stipulated in the deliberation delegating powers, decisions taken pursuant thereto may be signed by a deputy or councillor acting by delegation from the mayor under the conditions set out in article L. 2122-18. Unless otherwise stipulated in the deliberation, decisions relating to the matters that have been delegated are taken, in the event of the mayor’s impediment, by the town council.
The mayor must report to each mandatory meeting of the municipal council.
The municipal council may always terminate the delegation.
