Article L2122-3 of the French Labour Code

Where a joint list has been drawn up by trade union organisations, the votes cast shall be divided between them on the basis indicated by the trade union organisations concerned when they submitted their list, failing which the votes shall be divided equally between the organisations concerned.

Lorsqu’une liste commune a été établie par des organisations syndicales, la répartition entre elles des suffrages exprimés se fait sur la base indiquée par les organisations syndicales concernées lors du dépôt de leur liste.A défaut d’indication, la répartition des suffrages se fait à part égale entre les organisations concernées.
