Within eight days, the doctor who has carried out an examination leading to the issue of a health certificate shall send this certificate to the doctor in charge of the departmental maternal and child protection service. This information is transmitted in compliance with professional confidentiality.
For the purposes of statistical and epidemiological monitoring of children’s health, each departmental public maternal and child protection service transmits to the Minister for Health or to the departments designated for this purpose by the Director General of the Regional Health Agency, in accordance with the conditions laid down by order issued after consultation with the National Council for Statistical Information and the National Commission for Information Technology and Civil Liberties:
1° Aggregated data ;
2° Personal data, including some health data, not including the following: surname, first name, date of birth and detailed address. The order specifies the procedures for determining the samples and the confidentiality guarantees provided when the data is transmitted. The transmission of such data shall comply with the rules relating to professional secrecy.
The information transmitted in application of this article and enabling the identification of the natural persons to whom it applies may not be communicated in any way by the service receiving the transmission and shall be destroyed after use.
