Article L2136-1 of the French Public Health Code

For the support of children with multiple disabilities or cerebral palsy, a coordinated pathway for diagnosis, re-education and rehabilitation is covered by the health insurance, on medical prescription.

The pathway is organised by structures designated by order of the Director General of the Regional Health Agency from among the health establishments mentioned in article L. 6111-1 of this code or from among the establishments or services mentioned in 2°, 3° and 11° of the I ofarticle L. 312-1 of the Social Action and Family Code, which may enter into a contract for this purpose with private health professionals under agreement and with those mentioned in articles L. 4331-1 and L. 4332-1 of this code.

A Conseil d’Etat decree sets out the conditions for application of this article, in particular the terms and conditions for prescribing, the terms and conditions for the intervention of professionals, the number of sessions covered and the terms and conditions for calculating and paying the remuneration of the professionals mentioned in articles L. 4331-1 and L. 4332-1.

-Pour l’accompagnement des enfants en situation de polyhandicap ou de paralysie cérébrale, un parcours coordonné de diagnostic, de rééducation et de réadaptation est pris en charge par l’assurance maladie, sur prescription médicale.

Le parcours est organisé par des structures désignées par arrêté du directeur général de l’agence régionale de santé parmi les établissements de santé mentionnés à l’article L. 6111-1 du présent code ou parmi les établissements ou services mentionnés aux 2°, 3° et 11° du I de l’article L. 312-1 du code de l’action sociale et des familles, qui peuvent conclure à cet effet un contrat avec des professionnels de santé libéraux conventionnés et avec ceux mentionnés aux articles L. 4331-1 et L. 4332-1 du présent code.

Un décret en Conseil d’Etat fixe les conditions d’application du présent article, notamment les modalités de prescription, les conditions d’intervention des professionnels, le nombre de séances prises en charge et les modalités de calcul et de versement de la rémunération des professionnels mentionnés aux articles L. 4331-1 et L. 4332-1.
