Article L2143-2 of the French Public Health Code

Any person conceived by medically assisted procreation with a third party donor may, if they so wish, have access at the age of majority to the identity and non-identifying data of the third party donor as defined in article L. 2143-3.

Persons wishing to donate gametes or offer their embryo for reception shall expressly consent in advance to the communication of this data and their identity, under the conditions set out in the first paragraph of this article. In the event of refusal, these persons may not proceed with this donation or offer this reception.

The death of the third party donor has no effect on the communication of this data and his identity.

This data may be updated by the donor.

Article L2143-2

Toute personne conçue par assistance médicale à la procréation avec tiers donneur peut, si elle le souhaite, accéder à sa majorité à l’identité et aux données non identifiantes du tiers donneur définies à l’article L. 2143-3.

Les personnes qui souhaitent procéder à un don de gamètes ou proposer leur embryon à l’accueil consentent expressément et au préalable à la communication de ces données et de leur identité, dans les conditions prévues au premier alinéa du présent article. En cas de refus, ces personnes ne peuvent procéder à ce don ou proposer cet accueil.

Le décès du tiers donneur est sans incidence sur la communication de ces données et de son identité.

Ces données peuvent être actualisées par le donneur.
