Article L2162-4 of the French Public Health Code

As stated in Article 511-23 of the Criminal Code, reproduced below:

“Introducing human embryos into the territory where the Public Health Code applies or removing them from this territory without the authorisation provided for in Article L. 2141-9 of the Public Health Code is punishable by three years’ imprisonment and a fine of 45,000 euros. “

” Le fait d’introduire des embryons humains sur le territoire où s’applique le code de la santé publique ou de les sortir de ce territoire sans l’autorisation prévue à l’article L. 2141-9 du code de la santé publique est puni de trois ans d’emprisonnement et de 45 000 euros d’amende. “
