Article L221-3 of the French Sports Code

High-level sportsmen and women and referees and judges on the list mentioned in the first paragraph of article L. 221-2 may take part in competitions for jobs in the State, local authorities, their public establishments and any national or semi-public company, without having to meet the diploma requirements for candidates.

Article L221-3

Les sportifs et arbitres et juges de haut niveau figurant sur la liste mentionnée au premier alinéa de l’article L. 221-2 peuvent se présenter aux concours d’accès aux emplois de l’Etat, des collectivités territoriales, de leurs établissements publics ainsi que de toute société nationale ou d’économie mixte, sans remplir les conditions de diplôme exigées des candidats.
