The branch is responsible for :

1° To define the employment and working conditions of employees as well as the guarantees applicable to them in the matters referred to in articles L. 2253-1 and L. 2253-2 under the conditions provided for by the said articles.

2° To regulate competition between the companies falling within its scope.

Article L2232-5-1

La branche a pour missions :

1° De définir les conditions d’emploi et de travail des salariés ainsi que les garanties qui leur sont applicables dans les matières mentionnées aux articles L. 2253-1 et L. 2253-2 dans les conditions prévues par lesdits articles.

2° De réguler la concurrence entre les entreprises relevant de son champ d’application.
