I. – For the purposes of this Title, an international sporting event is a sporting event which takes place at a venue designated by an international sporting body and for which that body:
1° lays down the rules applicable to the event; or
2° appoints the persons responsible for enforcing the rules applicable to the event.
The following are international sports bodies within the meaning of this article:
1° The International Olympic Committee ;
2° The International Paralympic Committee ;
3° An international sports federation that is a signatory to the World Anti-Doping Code referred to in the International Convention against Doping in Sport, adopted in Paris on 19 October 2005;
4° An organisation responsible for a major international sporting event that is a signatory to the World Anti-Doping Code mentioned in the International Convention against Doping in Sport, adopted in Paris on 19 October 2005.
II. – For the purposes of this Title, a national sporting event is a sporting event or competition involving international-level athletes or national-level athletes, which is not an international event as defined in the first paragraph.
