Article L2315-49 of the French Labour Code

In the absence of an agreement as provided for in article L. 2315-45, in undertakings with at least three hundred employees, the social and economic committee shall set up a training committee.

This committee is responsible for:

1° Preparing the deliberations of the committee provided for in 1° and 3° of article L. 2312-17 in the areas within its remit;

2° Studying ways of encouraging employees to express their views on training and participating in informing them in this area;

3° Studying specific problems concerning the employment and work of young people and disabled workers.

En l’absence d’accord prévu à l’article L. 2315-45, dans les entreprises d’au moins trois cents salariés, le comité social et économique constitue une commission de la formation.

Cette commission est chargée :

1° De préparer les délibérations du comité prévues aux 1° et 3° de l’article L. 2312-17 dans les domaines qui relèvent de sa compétence ;

2° D’étudier les moyens permettant de favoriser l’expression des salariés en matière de formation et de participer à leur information dans ce domaine ;

3° D’étudier les problèmes spécifiques concernant l’emploi et le travail des jeunes et des travailleurs handicapés.
