The Employee Housing Information and Assistance Commission assists employees wishing to purchase or rent housing under the “participation des employeurs à l’effort de construction” (employer’s contribution to the construction effort) scheme, or to invest funds from rights accrued in application of the provisions relating to profit-sharing, incentive schemes and employee savings schemes.
To this end, the commission proposes, in each company, criteria for ranking employees who are candidates for home ownership or renting, taking into account, in particular, the family responsibilities of the candidates.
Priority is given to beneficiaries of the provisions of the code des pensions militaires d’invalidité et des victimes de la guerre (Military Invalidity and Victims of War Pensions Code) with the status of severely disabled war veterans, surviving spouses, wards of the nation, holders of invalidity pensions paid by a compulsory social security scheme, beneficiaries of a work accident pension corresponding to a degree of incapacity at least equal to 66%, young people under the age of thirty, employees undergoing professional mobility, as well as employees meeting the criteria provided for in second paragraph of II of article L. 441-2-3 of the French Construction and Housing Code.
