Article L232-30 of the French Sports Code

The following may exercise the rights conferred on civil parties in respect of the offences referred to in this section:

1° The French National Olympic and Sports Committee for acts committed during competitions for which it is responsible;

2° The sports federations approved by the Minister for Sport, each insofar as it is concerned, except where the offender is subject to its disciplinary powers.

When proceedings are instituted in application of the provisions of this section, the French Anti-Doping Agency may exercise the rights of a civil party. However, it may not, with regard to the same person and in respect of the same acts, exercise simultaneously the sanctioning powers that it derives from the present Code and the rights of the civil party.
