Article L2331-5 of the French Labour Code

Banking networks with a central body, within the meaning of Articles L. 511-30 and L. 511-31 of the Monetary and Financial Code relating to the activity and control of credit institutions, constitute a group works council when this central body is not a public institution.

For the purposes of this Title, the central body is considered to be the dominant undertaking.

Les réseaux bancaires comportant un organe central, au sens des articles L. 511-30 et L. 511-31 du code monétaire et financier relatifs à l’activité et au contrôle des établissements de crédit, constituent un comité de groupe quand cet organe central n’est pas un établissement public.

Pour l’application du présent titre, l’organe central est considéré comme l’entreprise dominante.
