Article L2333-68 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Subject to the provisions of articles L. 2333-70 and L. 5722-7-1, the payment is allocated to the financing of investment and operating expenses for urban and non-urban public transport carried out within the territorial jurisdiction of the mobility organising authority and organised by this authority and other public transport services which, although not carried out entirely within the territorial jurisdiction of the mobility organising authority, contribute to serving the territory within the framework of a contract signed with the authority responsible for organising mobility. The payment is also allocated to the financing of investment and operating expenses for any action falling within the remit of the mobility organising authorities within the meaning of articles L. 1231-1 et L. 1231-1-1 of the Transport Code.

Sous réserve des dispositions des articles L. 2333-70 et L. 5722-7-1, le versement est affecté au financement des dépenses d’investissement et de fonctionnement des transports publics urbains et non urbains exécutés dans le ressort territorial de l’autorité organisatrice de la mobilité et organisés par cette autorité et des autres services de transports publics qui, sans être effectués entièrement dans le ressort territorial de l’autorité organisatrice de la mobilité, concourent à la desserte du territoire dans le cadre d’un contrat passé avec l’autorité responsable de l’organisation de la mobilité. Le versement est également affecté au financement des dépenses d’investissement et de fonctionnement de toute action relevant des compétences des autorités organisatrices de la mobilité au sens des articles L. 1231-1 et L. 1231-1-1 du code des transports.
