Article L2334-2 of the French Labour Code

The Group Works Council meets at least once a year and is convened by its Chairman.

The agenda for the meeting is drawn up by the Chairman and the Secretary and communicated to the members at least fifteen days before the meeting.

Time spent by staff representatives at meetings of the Group Works Council is paid as working time.

The use of videoconferencing to convene a Group Works Council meeting may be authorised by agreement between the Chairman and the employee representatives sitting on the Council. In the absence of an agreement, such use is limited to three meetings per calendar year. A decree determines the conditions under which the group works council may, in this context, proceed to a secret ballot.

Le comité de groupe se réunit au moins une fois par an sur convocation de son président.

L’ordre du jour de la réunion est arrêté par le président et le secrétaire et communiqué aux membres quinze jours au moins avant la séance.

Le temps passé par les représentants du personnel aux séances du comité de groupe est rémunéré comme temps de travail.

Le recours à la visioconférence pour réunir le comité de groupe peut être autorisé par accord entre le président et les représentants du personnel siégeant au comité. En l’absence d’accord, ce recours est limité à trois réunions par année civile. Un décret détermine les conditions dans lesquelles le comité de groupe peut, dans ce cadre, procéder à un vote à bulletin secret.
