Article L2422-3 of the French Labour Code

The reinstatement of an employee representative on the supervisory board or board of directors of a public sector company in his job or an equivalent job entails reinstatement in his mandate, except in the event of a general renewal of the board on which he sat. His replacement ceases to be a member of this board.

La réintégration d’un représentant des salariés au conseil de surveillance ou d’administration d’une entreprise du secteur public dans son emploi ou un emploi équivalent emporte réintégration dans son mandat, sauf en cas de renouvellement général du conseil dans lequel il siégeait. Son remplaçant cesse alors d’être membre de ce conseil.
