Article L2573-54-1 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

A territorial endowment for investment is instituted for the benefit of the communes of French Polynesia.

This allocation is earmarked for the financing of projects by communes and their establishments in the areas of waste treatment, water supply, wastewater treatment, adaptation or mitigation to the effects of climate change and pre-elementary and elementary school building projects. It is collected directly by the intercommunal equalisation fund mentioned in Article L. 2573-51.

The amount is set by the Finance Act.

A Conseil d’Etat decree specifies the terms and conditions for the application of this article.

Article L2573-54-1

Il est institué une dotation territoriale pour l’investissement au profit des communes de la Polynésie française.

Cette dotation est affectée au financement des projets des communes et de leurs établissements en matière de traitement des déchets, d’adduction d’eau, d’assainissement des eaux usées, d’adaptation ou d’atténuation face aux effets du changement climatique et des projets de constructions scolaires pré-élémentaires et élémentaires. Elle est perçue directement par le fonds intercommunal de péréquation mentionné à l’article L. 2573-51.

Son montant est fixé par la loi de finances.

Un décret en Conseil d’Etat précise les modalités d’application du présent article.
