Article L312-15 of the French Consumer Code

Where the conclusion of a transaction mentioned in article L. 312-1 gives the right, or may give the right, free of charge, immediately or in the future, to a premium in the form of products or goods, the value of this premium may not exceed a threshold set by order of the Minister for the Economy.

Article L312-15

Lorsque la conclusion d’une opération mentionnée à l’article L. 312-1 donne droit, ou peut donner droit, à titre gratuit, immédiatement ou à terme, à une prime en nature de produits ou biens, la valeur de cette prime ne peut être supérieure à un seuil fixé par arrêté du ministre chargé de l’économie.
