Article L312-32 of the French Consumer Code

For the credit transactions mentioned in this chapter, excluding hire-purchase and hire-purchase with a purchase option, the creditor shall provide the borrower, at least once a year, with information relating to the amount of capital still to be repaid, on paper or any other durable medium. This information shall appear, in legible characters, on the first page of the document provided to the borrower.

Pour les opérations de crédit mentionnées au présent chapitre, à l’exclusion de la location-vente et de la location avec option d’achat, le prêteur fournit, au moins une fois par an, à l’emprunteur, l’information relative au montant du capital restant à rembourser, sur support papier ou tout autre support durable. Cette information figure, en caractères lisibles, sur la première page du document fourni à l’emprunteur.
