I. – Before the Payment Service User is bound by a contract relating to an individual payment transaction or the provision of an individual payment service, the Payment Service Provider shall provide the Payment Service User with the information specified by order of the Minister for the Economy.
At the user’s request, the payment service provider shall provide this information on paper or on another durable medium.
II. – If, at the Payment Service User’s request, the contract relating to an individual payment transaction is concluded by a means of distance communication that does not enable the Payment Service Provider to comply with the obligations set out in I, the latter shall comply with them immediately after the payment transaction has been executed.
III. – The payment service provider may fulfil the obligation to provide the prior information referred to in I by providing a copy of the draft contract relating to the individual payment transaction or payment order containing the information and conditions provided for in I.
IV. – Where applicable, the other relevant information and conditions referred to in Article L. 314-12 are made available to the Payment Service User in an easily accessible form.
V. – As soon as it has received the payment order, the payment service provider shall provide the payer or make available to the payer, in accordance with the procedures set out in I, the information specified by order of the Minister for the Economy.
VI. – Immediately after initiating the payment order, the payment service provider shall provide the payer and, where applicable, the payee, or make available to them, in accordance with the procedures set out in I, the information specified by order of the Minister for the Economy;
VII. – When a payment service provider gives a payment order on behalf of a payment service user, it provides the payment service provider managing the account with the information specified by order of the Minister for the Economy.
