Article L314-14 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

I. – After an individual payment transaction or a payment transaction covered by a framework contract for payment services or by the terms of a deposit account agreement referred to in I of article L. 312-1-1 has been carried out, the payment service provider shall provide the payment service user without delay with the information relating to the transaction, on paper or on another durable medium, as specified by regulation.

II. – For payment transactions covered by a framework contract for payment services or by the terms of a deposit account agreement referred to in I of Article L. 312-1-1, the parties may, however, decide contractually that this information will be provided or made available on paper or on another durable medium at other intervals which may not exceed one month, without prejudice to the provisions of II of Article L. 314-7.

The payment service provider may not refuse to provide the information referred to in I of this article on paper free of charge at least once a month, without prejudice to the provisions of II of Article L. 314-7.

Article L314-14

I. – Après la réalisation d’une opération de paiement isolée ou relevant d’un contrat-cadre de services de paiement ou des stipulations d’une convention de compte de dépôt mentionnée au I de l’article L. 312-1-1, le prestataire de services de paiement fournit sans tarder sur support papier ou sur un autre support durable à l’utilisateur les informations relatives à cette opération précisées par voie réglementaire.

II. – Pour les opérations de paiement relevant d’un contrat-cadre de services de paiement ou des stipulations d’une convention de compte de dépôt mentionnée au I de l’article L. 312-1-1, les parties peuvent toutefois décider contractuellement que ces informations seront fournies ou mises à disposition, sur support papier ou sur un autre support durable selon une autre périodicité qui ne peut excéder un mois, sans préjudice des dispositions du II de l’article L. 314-7.

Le prestataire de services de paiement ne peut refuser de fournir gratuitement sur papier, au moins une fois par mois, les informations mentionnées au I du présent article, sans préjudice des dispositions du II de l’article L. 314-7.
