Article L323-12 of the French Intellectual Property Code

The articles of association or general regulations of the organisations shall provide for procedures ensuring the prevention and handling of conflicts of interest which may arise in the performance of the duties of members of the management, administrative and executive bodies, so as to prevent them from adversely affecting the collective interests of the right holders they represent.
