Article L3351-1 of the French Public Health Code

The placing on the market or sale, by a manufacturer or importer of alcoholic beverages, in France or in a territory subject to French authority, of beverages from the third, fourth or fifth group without having made the declaration provided for in article L. 3322-1, is punishable by a fine of 6,000 euros.

The same penalty is applicable to importers and manufacturers who supply the said beverages for circulation or sale in packaging that does not bear the indications required by article L. 3322-2 or who display on this packaging the descriptions prohibited by the said article.

Article L3351-1

La mise en circulation ou la vente, pour un fabricant ou importateur de boissons alcooliques, en France ou sur un territoire soumis à l’autorité française, des boissons de troisième, quatrième ou cinquième groupe sans avoir fait la déclaration prévue à l’article L. 3322-1, est punie de 6000 euros d’amende.

La même peine est applicable aux importateurs et fabricants qui livrent lesdites boissons à la circulation ou à la vente sous des conditionnements non revêtus des indications imposées par l’article L. 3322-2 ou qui font figurer sur ces conditionnements les qualifications interdites par ledit article.
