Article L3352-3 of the French Public Health Code

A fine of €3,750 shall be imposed for opening a café, cabaret or on-trade drinks outlet selling alcohol:

1° Without making the declaration provided for in article L. 3332-3 at least fifteen days in advance and in writing;

2° Without proving French nationality or that of another Member State of the European Union or another State party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Article L3352-3

Est punie de 3 750 euros d’amende l’ouverture d’un café, d’un cabaret, d’un débit de boissons à consommer sur place, vendant de l’alcool :

1° Sans faire quinze jours au moins à l’avance et par écrit la déclaration prévue à l’article L. 3332-3 ;

2° Sans justifier de la nationalité française ou de celle d’un autre Etat membre de l’Union européenne ou d’un autre Etat partie à l’accord sur l’Espace économique européen.
