Article L3422-2 of the French Labour Code

In Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Mayotte, La Réunion, Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin, the following days commemorating the abolition of slavery are public holidays:

1° 27 April in Mayotte ;

2° 22 May in Martinique ;

3° 27 May in Guadeloupe and Saint-Martin ;

4° 10 June in French Guiana ;

5° On 9 October in Saint-Barthélemy ;

6° On 20 December in Réunion.

En Guadeloupe, en Guyane, en Martinique, à Mayotte, à La Réunion, à Saint-Barthélemy et à Saint-Martin, les journées de commémoration de l’abolition de l’esclavage ci-après désignées sont des jours fériés :

1° Le 27 avril à Mayotte ;

2° Le 22 mai en Martinique ;

3° Le 27 mai en Guadeloupe et à Saint-Martin ;

4° Le 10 juin en Guyane ;

5° Le 9 octobre à Saint-Barthélemy ;

6° Le 20 décembre à La Réunion.
